We met our driver, Kostas, & boarded our bus for the 2+ hour drive to Nafplion, our destination for 3 nights.
En-route we stopped to view the Corinth Canal, cut through a 4 mile neck of land in the 1890s to avoid a 200 mile route around the Peloponnese peninsula.
In Nafplion we checked-in at the Hotel Victoria, then enjoyed our welcome dinner at the excellent Circle Restaurant of the nearby Hotel Amphitrion.
After dinner those with enough energy took a walk through the central square of the Old Town - a great way to end our arrival day in Greece.
