Goodbye Nafplion, Hello Olympia

The group enjoyed a free morning in Nafplion today, to relax or explore at their leisure.
Many of the students & adults made a trip to the top of the nearby mountain to visit Palimidi Fortress - some climbed the 957+ steps, some took a taxi, but all enjoyed the spectacular views.
Others rode the boat across the bay to the 'cute' Bourtzi Fortress, guarding the town on its island.
After lunch we met up to board our bus for the afternoon drive to Olympia, site of the ancient Olympic Games for over 1,000 years!
We checked-in for a 2-night stay at the excellent Hotel Europa, then enjoyed the pool area before a great buffet dinner.
